Ho riflettuto bene e mi sono resa conto che siamo talmente presi dalle pubblicità, dalla nostra vita frenetica che non ci domandiamo nemmeno più da dove arriva il cibo e dove è stato coltivato, qual'é l'impatto ambientale che ruota intorno a questo.
Sono però felice di constatare che sempre più cittadini nel mondo stanno aprendo gli occhi e stanno provando a cambiare le cose come questi ragazzi di edible city oppure questi di occupy the farm. Abbiamo anche visto come in un piccolo pezzo di terra si riesce a coltivare MOLTO cibo!
Questa estate ho visto dei orti bellissimi durante il mio viaggio negli Stati Uniti, ecco alcune foto.
Proviamo a ripensare le nostre città, magari più lente, camminando di più, creando meno smog e coltivando quelle aree abbandonate con i nostri vicini di casa ed amici!
We have been receiving criticism when we talk about planting on a terrace or making kitchen kitchen gardens in towns but this past summer I have thought a lot about the subject especially when I saw many kilometers of fruit trees, and vegetable plants along highways!
I have been thinking about this and how we are overwhelmed by publicity and by our frenetic lives, that we don’t even ask ourselves where does our food come from, where is it cultivated and what is its environmental impact.
But I am also very happy to know that things are slowly changing and people are opening their eyes to change things such as those families from edible city or these ones of occupy the farm. We have also seen how small lands can give LOOTS of food!
This past summer I have seen many beautiful vegetable patches during my trip in the United States, here are a few images.
Let’s start thinking about our towns differently, let’s start walking more, polluting less and cultivating in those abandoned green areas with our neighbors and friends!

condivido... io ho una terrazza molto piccola, ma piena di piante! E' esposta così bene che le piante sono cresciute così tanto che non riesco quasi più a tendere i panni! Ho 3 piante di peperoncini, basilico, timo, salvia, erba cipollina, rosmarino e 4/5 aloe! Tutte piante produttive che mi permettono di usare per tutto l'anno (conservando/seccando in inverno)
